Caroline Kate

Here is our baby Caroline Kate. She is so darn cute!  She looks just like her Mommy did when she was 24 hours old.   I spent a lot of time with Shannon at the hospital today and was worried about eating the cafeteria food, but thankfully they had a super healthy salad bar, yum!

My daughter Daryn drove down from college to see her new niece.   Daryn, my son-in-law John, two year old granddaughter Isabelle and I went for a long walk around this cool trail by Shannon and John’s house.  It was fun and we had to go really fast because it was only about 50 degrees outside. That’s freezing in California degrees!

Daryn is sitting next to me right now with her head on my shoulder.  She said my shoulder is a lot bonier than it used to be.  She said she can also tell I’ve lost weight because my face is a lot thinner.  Yay, I have a skinny face and shoulders.  I wish my butt would catch a clue!
